이번엔 영어 전치사를 알아보겠습니다.

전치사 : (앞) 전 + 위치할(치) + 명사 = 명사 앞에 위치하는 품사 

 

이 말은 다른 말로 말하면 전치사 뒤에 명사가 온다는 말이 되죠. 

 

 

1) 전치사+명사=형용사구 / 부사구 

           명사를 수식   명사를 수식(X)

 

ex) The books (on the desk) were interesting (to me).  

       

                   

  A reduction in prices might see a temporary increase in sales for the seller.

          

  감소는    가격에서의  보여줄 것이다 일시적인 증가를 판매의     판매자에게

 

 

 

 

2) 전치사뒤에는 명사가 오죠 그럼 어떤 종류의 명사가 올까요?

 

전치사 + 명사/대명사 

전치사 + 동명사

전치사 + 명사절 

 

ex) Identity theft can take many forms in the digital world.

  

        아이디도용     띤다      많은 형태를  디지털 세계에서 

    

  It is usually best to approve of the child's play without interfering.

                                                                  

이것은 보통 아주 좋다 아이의 놀이를 찬성하는 것이   간섭하는것 없이

    

Being envious of what others have only serves to make you unhappy with what you personally have.  

다른 사람이 가지고 있는 것에 부러워하는 것은 오직 제공한다  너를 불행하게 네가 개인적으로 가지고 있는 것에 

 

 

 

3) 전치사

전치사 + 명사 = 형용사구 / 부사구
→ 방향성	⁀	∅
1) to+ 도착 (~쪽으로)   → I went to school to play baseball.   2) into(~쪽으로) 물->얼음             → Put the cake into the oven.   3) for(~향해)-마음의 방향    → He called for his dog.   4) toward(~향해)      → It began rain toward evening.	1) about (~대충 주변)   I was injured about the head.       2) with(~함께)-동시성   I went  with Su-Ji.   3) over, above, beyond(넘어)      I see a bird over the rainbow.   4) round / around(~주위)       The earth moves round the sun.	1) through(~통해)        •        ∅ I looked at Su-Ji through a telescope.     2) throughout(~통틀어)              ∅ Cholera is prevalent throughout the country.     3) across(~가로질러)     ∅ I ran across the street to buy books.
← 출발	↓ 아래	By(~영향아래)
1) from + 출발지     ← → I will drive from Seoul to Busan.   2) out of / out  밖으로       ← Two rabbits came out of the forest.   3) against  대항하여   ↔ I'm against the plan.	1) down ↓ She's coming down the stairs.   2)Beneath 3)Under 4)below          ↓ My glasses are beneath the newspaper.    ↓ A cat is lying under the tree.	He was killed by the thief. He passed by me. We learn by listening. He went to school by bus. I will finish this work by noon I missed train by two minutes.
•	↝(쓩~)	OF(소속의 전치사)
1) on(~붙은-접착)  =upon / onto                                          • She removed the contact lens on her left eye.   2) at(딱 그 지점)            • She is sitting at the table in the coner.	1) away   ↝ I ran away when I saw her. 2) off          ↝ The house stood a mile off	The writer of the books remains unknown. She is just one of my friend. I am thinking of you.

 

 

전치사 + 명사 = 형용사구 / 부사구
~ 때문에	~에도 불구하고	~을 제외하고
Because of = Owing to = On account of = Due to	Despite = In spite of	Except for = But = Excepting
~ 할 목적으로	~대신에	~의하여
For the purpose of = With a view to = For the sake of	Instead of = On behalf of	By means of = By dint of
~에 따라면	~관해	by ~ing :   ~함으로써 in~ing :  ~하는데있어 on~ing :   ~하자마자
